1. About OBD Soft

OBD Soft provides digital automotive software products, download access, installation guides, and installation support services.

Contact email: contact@obd-soft.com

2. Digital Products Only

OBD Soft products are digital products. We do not ship physical goods unless a product page expressly states otherwise.

After successful payment, you receive access to a protected page with the download link and software guide. The access link is sent by email and may also be available in your account page. An account is created during checkout, and your account password is sent by email after purchase.

Delivery, refunds, returns, and withdrawal rights are governed by our Shipping and Returns Policy.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your location, to purchase from OBD Soft.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • the information you provide is accurate and complete;
  • you are legally allowed to enter into this agreement;
  • you will use the product only for lawful purposes;
  • you are responsible for checking compatibility before purchase.

4. Product Information and Compatibility

We try to describe our products accurately, including important compatibility notes, system requirements, installation notes, and limitations.

You are responsible for reviewing the product page before purchase. This includes checking the operating system, device requirements, diagnostic interface compatibility, vehicle coverage notes, driver requirements, and any other limitations.

Vehicle and hardware compatibility can depend on many factors, including vehicle model, year, ECU type, diagnostic interface, Windows version, drivers, antivirus settings, and customer device condition. We do not guarantee compatibility with every vehicle, computer, interface, operating system, driver, or third-party tool.

Product images, screenshots, brand names, vehicle names, and references may be used for identification, compatibility, or informational purposes only.

5. License to Use Digital Products

When you purchase a digital product from OBD Soft, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the product for your own lawful use.

You do not purchase ownership of the software, files, guides, download page, account access, intellectual property, or any underlying rights.

Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing, you may not:

  • copy, share, publish, upload, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or transfer the product;
  • share download links, access pages, passwords, license keys, installation files, guides, or account details;
  • make the product available on forums, marketplaces, cloud storage, file-sharing services, social media, or public websites;
  • modify, reverse engineer, decompile, bypass protections, remove notices, or create derivative works;
  • use the product for commercial resale, unauthorized installation services, or competing services;
  • use the product in a way that infringes copyright, trademark, trade secret, license, privacy, security, or other rights.

Any unauthorized copying, sharing, resale, publication, or redistribution may result in account termination, loss of access, refusal of support, license revocation, and legal action.

6. Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your account, password, access link, download link, and email account secure.

You must not share your account or access details with other people. Activity from your account may be treated as activity authorized by you unless you notify us promptly of unauthorized access.

We may suspend or close an account if we suspect fraud, abuse, chargeback misuse, unauthorized sharing, security risk, or violation of these Terms.

7. Payments, Orders, and Fraud Checks

Prices, taxes, payment methods, and product availability may change without notice.

We may refuse, cancel, delay, or review an order if we suspect fraud, unauthorized payment use, payment risk, incorrect customer details, abuse, sanctions issues, legal restrictions, or technical errors.

You agree not to use stolen payment details, false identity information, fake email addresses, unauthorized accounts, or other fraudulent methods.

8. Support and Installation Services

OBD Soft may provide installation support by email, through the Q&A section on the installation guide page, or through remote assistance.

If remote installation support is required, we will contact you by email to agree on an installation time. You must provide access to your PC using TeamViewer or AnyDesk.

You are responsible for:

  • having a stable internet connection;
  • using a supported Windows computer;
  • having administrator access to the computer;
  • having compatible hardware or diagnostic interfaces where required;
  • following our installation instructions;
  • backing up important data before remote support;
  • ensuring that you are legally allowed to install and use the software on your device.

Remote support is provided to help with installation. It does not include unrelated PC repair, operating system repair, hardware repair, vehicle repair, ECU repair, diagnostic training, coding guarantees, or support for unsupported third-party tools unless we expressly agree.

You remain responsible for your computer, files, passwords, personal data, vehicle, hardware, and third-party accounts. You should not leave private files, passwords, payment details, or sensitive information visible during remote support.

9. Prohibited Uses

You must not use our website, products, guides, support, or services:

  • for any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive purpose;
  • to infringe copyright, trademark, license, trade secret, privacy, or other rights;
  • to bypass security, access controls, software licensing, vehicle security, or anti-theft systems unlawfully;
  • for mileage manipulation, emissions tampering, immobilizer abuse, theft, unauthorized vehicle access, or other illegal vehicle activity;
  • to damage vehicles, computers, networks, software, diagnostic tools, or third-party systems;
  • to upload malware, harmful scripts, stolen data, or illegal content;
  • to harass, threaten, abuse, or mislead OBD Soft, our staff, other customers, or third parties;
  • to make false claims, fraudulent refund requests, abusive chargebacks, or misleading complaints.

We may refuse service, terminate access, and report unlawful activity where appropriate.

10. Intellectual Property

The OBD Soft website, text, page structure, guides, product descriptions, branding, layouts, images created by us, and other original content are owned by OBD Soft or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, republish, translate, sell, distribute, or use our website content or guides without our written permission, except for your personal use of purchased products.

All third-party trademarks, brand names, software names, vehicle names, logos, and product references belong to their respective owners. Any such references are used for identification, compatibility, descriptive, or informational purposes only. OBD Soft is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by any vehicle manufacturer, software publisher, diagnostic tool manufacturer, or trademark owner unless expressly stated in writing.

  • a statement that the information you provide is accurate;
  • proof that you are the rights owner or authorized to act for the rights owner.

We may remove, disable, edit, or investigate content after receiving a credible complaint. We may also request additional information before taking action.

False, misleading, abusive, or bad-faith complaints may cause legal liability. Sending a complaint does not guarantee removal if the use is lawful, licensed, descriptive, nominative, fair use, or otherwise permitted by law.

12. Customer Content and Messages

If you submit questions, reviews, files, screenshots, comments, support messages, or other content to us, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

You grant OBD Soft permission to use that content as needed to provide support, investigate issues, improve our products, respond to disputes, protect our rights, and operate our website.

You must not send us illegal, infringing, confidential, malicious, or harmful content.

13. No Professional Automotive Advice

Our products and support are provided for software installation and diagnostic assistance only. We do not provide professional mechanical, legal, regulatory, emissions, safety, insurance, or vehicle repair advice.

You are responsible for using diagnostic software safely and lawfully. Vehicle repairs, coding, adaptations, resets, and diagnostic actions should be performed only by competent users who understand the risks.

OBD Soft is not responsible for damage, data loss, vehicle faults, failed coding, incorrect repairs, emissions issues, immobilizer problems, safety issues, or legal consequences caused by improper use, incompatible hardware, third-party software, customer actions, or failure to follow instructions.

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our website, products, download pages, guides, and support services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee that:

  • the product will work with every device, vehicle, interface, operating system, driver, or configuration;
  • installation will be successful on every computer;
  • support will solve every issue;
  • access will be uninterrupted or error-free;
  • files will be compatible with all antivirus tools or security settings;
  • vehicle coverage, functions, coding, diagnostics, or service procedures will be available for every vehicle.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any legal rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OBD Soft is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, data, software, files, goodwill, vehicle use, business interruption, repair costs, replacement costs, or third-party claims.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a product or service is limited to the amount you paid to OBD Soft for the specific product or service that caused the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limits may not apply to you.

16. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless OBD Soft from claims, losses, damages, costs, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • your misuse of our products, website, guides, or services;

  • your violation of law;
  • your infringement of third-party rights;
  • your unauthorized sharing, resale, copying, or redistribution;
  • your vehicle, computer, hardware, software, account, data, or third-party tools;
  • content or information you provide to us.

This section does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our website, account, download page, support, product access, or license if you breach these Terms, misuse our products, violate intellectual property rights, abuse support, file fraudulent claims, create payment risk, or engage in unlawful activity.

After termination, you must stop using the product and delete any copies if your license has been revoked.

18. Changes to Products and Terms

We may update products, guides, pages, prices, descriptions, support processes, and these Terms from time to time.

The version of the Terms available on our website at the time of use or purchase applies unless a newer version is required by law or accepted by you.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where OBD Soft is legally established, unless mandatory consumer protection law gives you rights in your own country or region.

Before starting a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at contact@obd-soft.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.

20. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections continue to apply. The invalid part will be interpreted or replaced in a way that most closely reflects the original purpose while remaining lawful.
